Binh Phuoc is a mountainous, ethnical border province, in the Southeast region of Vietnam, 150 Km North West from Ho Chi Minh City. With the total natural area of 6,854 km2 and the population of more than 800,000 people, Binh Phuoc is the home of 41 ethnic groups. It borders Cambodia to the west, Dak Nong and Lam Dong Provinces to the north, Dong Nai and Binh Duong Provinces to the east and Tay Ninh Province to the south. Binh Phuoc still has some forests and most cultivated land is used to grow rubber, coffee, cashew nut, and pepper.
